The search for a two-year-old boy, reported missing in Farnborough town centre, has been scaled back.
Police say he still has not been located, but they do not believe there is any immediate concern for his safety.
However, they would still like to hear from the child's parents or guardian.
Hampshire Police has released the following update: "A thorough area search has been conducted in Farnborough town centre and CCTV enquiries made and the child has not been located. There is no evidence of criminal activity or any immediate concern for the child's welfare. This search has now been scaled back.
"This report was made by a member of the public, not someone known to the child. The person making the report saw the boy unaccompanied and called police with their concerns.
"It may be that the child was reunited with his parent or carer or there is another explanation. We would urge the parent or carer of this child or anyone with information to come forward.
Please contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 620."
