British Heart Foundation has received a cheque for £2115, and it’s all thanks to fundraising at The Mall, Camberley and the generosity of shoppers.

In 2015, British Heart Foundation was one of the Camberley shopping centre’s charity partners, with a selection of fundraising undertaken for the charity. Staff at The Mall supported their annual Wear Red day, as well as sponsored swims and Christmas gift wrapping stall.

“This is a perfect example of how the local community aids our vital research.” said Karl Coppack, Fundraising Manager at British Heart Foundation. “Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer in this country and it is due to partnerships such as the one we enjoy with The Mall, Camberley that we can fight against it. The Mall has long been a supporter of the BHF and we thank them for their incredible efforts and generosity.”

In total, The Mall raised £2115 for British Heart Foundation; and a combined total of £3400 with their other charity partner, Frimley Park Hospital. Glenis Grossmith, Mall Cares leader at The Mall, Camberley, said “We were thrilled to present British Heart Foundation with a cheque for over £2,000, thanks to our hardworking staff and wonderful shoppers. We hope to continue the success again with them this year, and raise even more vital funds.”
