Shows Are So Much Cooler at Camberley Theatre this Summer

Camberley Theatre is thrilled to announce the launch of the forthcoming summer season brochure and share some of the upcoming event highlights.

The Classical Brit Award winning vocal ensemble Only Men Aloud (Fri 5 Jun, 7.30pm) will be visiting the theatre with their 'On the Road' Tour performing songs such as Mr Blue Sky, Here Comes the Sun, Ticket to Ride, and many more showcasing the versatility of this unique group.

A special selection of dinner shows is served up this summer with performances from Paul Daniels (Sat 13 Jun) and his Intimate Magic Show, award-winning singer Robert Habermann presents Frank Sinatra The Movie Years (Fri 3 Jul) singing the songs and telling story of Ol' Blue Eyes' terrific film career. Laughter Lines will also return with their hilarious shows Ooh Matron (10 & 11 July) and The Sitcom Experience (18 & 19 Sep), all served up with a delicious 3 course meal included in the ticket price.


Frimley Lodge Live (8 & 9 Aug) returns with a two day open air festival at Frimley Lodge Park, the Saturday night is filled with tributes to eighties legends Queen, U2, Bob Marley and the Wailers and Bon Jovi. While Sunday hosts a ‘Celebration of Swing’.

The Tales of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny (Sat 25 Jul, 1.00pm) is performed at Frimley Lodge Park with A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Sat 25 Jul, 6.00pm) as part of their open air programme so bring your blankets and low backed chairs to Frimley Lodge for a great day of open air theatre.

From the creators of Blonde Poison comes a new production Miss Dietrich Regrets (Wed 8 Jul) with a revealing and poignant new look at the aging movie legend and icon Marlene Dietrich battling with her daughter to retain her independence to the very end.

For kids of all ages who ‘wanna build a snowman’ we have Sing-a-long-a-Frozen (Thu 27 Aug) coming to the theatre for two screenings introduced by a live host who will guide the audience through how to use the free prop bag, warm up singing voices and teach some dance moves with the help of a couple of special princesses.

The Black Cat Opera Company presents Falstaff (12, 13, 15 and 16 Aug), a fully-staged production of Verdi's comic masterpiece. Following the misadventures of Shakespeare's corpulent nobleman, this is a story of romance, jealousy, deception, and defenestration!
