Police ‘increasingly concerned’ about disappearance of missing man Thomas Ryan

He was last seen on the evening of Wednesday (June 24) and police believe he could be in the Old Dean area of Camberley.

Police are searching for a missing man who they think could be in the Camberley area.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of 48-year-old Thomas Ryan, who was reported missing at 8.30pm on Wednesday (June 24).

Last contact made with him was at 5am on Thursday when he was reported as sounding confused, which police say is out of character for him.

Mr Ryan has been working as a casual labourer in Hammersmith but officers believe he may be in the Old Dean area of Camberley as he used to live there.

He is described as white, 5ft 10 tall, of a proportionate to heavy build, with short, grey, receding hair.

He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and possibly a hooded top or sweatshirt. He may be wearing glasses and may have significant facial stubble. He speaks with an Irish accent.

Mr Ryan is believed to be driving a grey Ford transit van with an Irish registration number of 08MO984.

If you have seen Thomas, or you have any information about his whereabouts, contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting incident reference P15162823.
