Windlesham, Bagshot and Lightwater residents can learn more about the services their local councils, police and health organisations provide in their area, thanks to the Spotlight On Public Services event on 26 November 2014.
The free event, organised by Surrey Heath Borough Council (SHBC), will run from 6.30pm to 9pm at St John The Baptist Church, Church Lane, Windlesham, Surrey.
Guests will be able to speak to representatives from organisations including SHBC, Surrey County Council, Windlesham Parish Council, Surrey Police and the Surrey Heath Clinical Commissioning Group.
They will also have the opportunity to join discussion groups which will focus on the following topics:
• Health and wellbeing
• Housing, infrastructure and environment
• Safer and stronger communities
Surrey Heath Borough Council’s Chief Executive, Karen Whelan, said: “I am delighted that residents within the Windlesham, Bagshot and Lightwater areas will get a direct opportunity to understand their local services and talk to those involved who serve the local community.
“It’s also a great chance for guests to engage in topics that matter to both them and local service providers and I hope it will leave residents feeling a lot clearer about aspects of their local community and what is available to them.”
Places at this event are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please register to attend this event and choose discussion groups by logging on to www.surreyheath.gov.uk and visiting the ‘Spotlight On Public Services’ page.
