Can you sing, act or dance? Camberley Theatre wants you

Ever fancied staying awake all night to rehearse a fully staged musical? Well now you can! Camberley Theatre is looking for participants to take part in our first ever 24 Hour Musical. Yes this really is as crazy as it sounds. You and your fellow cast mates have 24 hours to put together a full-length musical before performing it to an audience at Camberley Theatre on Saturday 17 September.

You’ll arrive at 7.30pm on Friday 16 September where you’ll meet the director, musical director, choreographer, crew and your cast mates. Here you’ll find out for the very first time what the show is and what part you’ll be playing before being given scripts and beginning rehearsals.

24 Hour Musical is hard work, tiring but lots of fun. No experience is necessary! All you need is to be over the age of 16, have tons of energy and a “can do attitude”.

A show fee of £30 per person covers costs and includes your souvenir 24 Hour Musical T-shirt.

You will be sworn to secrecy and must not reveal anything about the show on social media or to your friends and family. We even ban the singing and humming of songs in the foyer or town centre during rehearsal period!

To be a part of 24 Hour Musical visit the Box Office, call 01276 707600 or email camberley.theatre@surreyheath.gov.uk.

Once you’ve paid your fee you’ll be emailed a sign-up sheet which you’ll need to complete and email back to us. This will contain costume info and a chance for you to tell us about any previous theatrical experience.

If you’d prefer to be in the audience, tickets can be purchased in person, online at www.camberleytheatre.biz or by calling the Box Office on 01276 707600.
