Camberley Theatre launches a brand new season of cinema viewing!

Camberley Theatre has launched an exciting new cinema season – with a difference. The season encompasses a vast array of films both old and new including some traditional Hollywood classics.

The programme includes some classic French cinema includes ‘Untouchable’ and ‘Les Choristes’. In addition to this, there is also some fantastic international films including ‘Beasts Of No Nation’ starring Idris Elba.

For those who like old black and white movies, there is a Bogart Bacall and James Cagney season including ‘The Public Enemy’ and the classic ‘Angels With Dirty Faces’. There is also a selection of Ealing Comedies which includes the all time classic ‘The Ladykillers’.

The film season kicks off with a selection of films starring the magnificent Dame Judi Dench. With an Academy Award, 2 Golden Globe’s, 6 Olivier Awards and a staggering 10 BAFTA’s, it is fair to say she is not only one of Britain’s best loved actresses but one of the world’s most well-respected actresses. The first screening is ‘Notes On A Scandal’ on 5 April at 7:30pm.
