The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital after he was stabbed multiple times on Friday night.
A young man was attacked and stabbed multiple times in Camberley on Friday night, police say.
Officers are hunting two men who reportedly attacked the victim in Avenue Sucy at around 9.10pm.
The pair fled from the scene in a Honda Civic, which has the partial index of MK7.
Surrey Police said the victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
The first man is described as white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 8ins of medium build.
He had short dark brown hair and short dark facial hair.
He was wearing a grey long-sleeved jumper, with grey tracksuit bottoms and had a local accent.
The second man is described as being of mixed race, in his early 20s, approximately 6ft 1 ins and of a skinny build.
He had dark brown curly affro style hair and was wearing a sleeved hooded top.
Detective Constable Caroline Katryniak said: "This was a serious incident in which a man was attacked and suffered a nasty injury, which he is fortunately recovering from in hospital.
"I would appeal to anyone who knows anything about this incident to get in touch with us immediately.
"It might be that you've heard someone bragging about what happened or know someone who drives a blue Honda Civic with the partial index of MK7, if so we need to hear from you urgently.
"We understand that this may alarm the community but I would like to reassure you we are doing all we can to find who is responsible.

The assault comes just a day after a police launched a manhunt following a stabbing in Camberley on Thursday night (August 13).
Police were called to Victoria Court in Victoria Avenue, off London Road, at around 7pm following reports that a man had been stabbed.
A 24-year old was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting for treatment to injuries which are not considered to be life-threatening.
