The Surrey Heath Arts Council and Camberley Theatre are looking to hold their first ever Surrey Heath Arts Inspiration Day on Sunday 16th October.
The free event will be open to all arts groups, societies, organisations and individuals within Surrey Heath and its aim is to encourage networking, partnership working and is a chance for the arts in Surrey Heath to continue to thrive and prosper.
There will be a mix of talks, workshops, Q&A’s and demonstrations from a range of art forms and disciplines including drama, dance, music, literary events, festival management and artist promotion.
There is also the opportunity for performances from theatre groups, dance schools, musicians, art demonstrations and literary events.
The shape of the day ultimately rests on the input of artists and groups from within the borough and the success of the event will be determined by those who attend. At this moment Surrey Heath Arts Council are seeking expressions of interest either in attending or speaking at the Arts Inspiration Day.
Andy Edmeads, Operations Manager of Camberley Theatre said, “This is the first event of its kind in Surrey Heath and we are delighted to be working with the Surrey Heath Arts Council and celebrating arts and culture in the borough. 2016 is the Theatre’s 50th birthday and we look forward to welcoming many groups, practitioners and artists from Surrey Heath”.
