Christmas is arriving at The Mall this November, with Bob the Builder kicking off the festive celebrations on Saturday 14th November.

As part of Camberley’s Christmas Light Switch On, Bob the Builder will be appearing at The Mall this Saturday, meeting young fans at intervals from 1pm to 4pm. Shoppers will be able to meet Bob and there will be photo opportunities so don’t forget to bring your camera!

In between appearances from the popular children’s character, The Secret Stage will be entertaining visitors with dance performances from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, plus entertainment, meet and greets and more with the cast of this year’s Camberley Theatre’s Aladdin cast in Cambridge Square. Children will also be able to get their letters to Santa sent off early, with FREE letter writing in The Square every day from 14th November.

Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Mall, Camberley, said “Christmas is fast approaching and we’re getting into the festive spirit by welcoming Bob the Builder to kick off our Christmas fun this weekend. From now until Christmas, there’s plenty of fun, events and activities for shoppers of all ages to join in with.”

There’s also extra time to fit in Christmas shopping, with late night shopping until 8pm every Thursday from 19th November, and free arts and crafts workshops for young shoppers from 3pm to 8pm. Santa is also arriving in his Grotto every day from 5th December, with shoppers able to pre-book their visit at

Bob the Builder will be making appearances on a first come, first served basis at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. The Secret Stage will be performing at 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
